Good Morning Hangover

Last night I celebrated tests that were passed this week with a few friends at the Konstanzer Oktoberfest. If it’s not clear already, I am back in Germany for ten days, as Monday was my exam in Particle Physics.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the complete lack of updates, but I’m lazy and the king of putting things off. I’ve been here a couple of weeks now, but I haven’t really done much touristy stuff. My time has been spent going to Ulpan (Hebrew language classes every morning), studying physics (I have an exam in Konstanz at the end of September), going to the beach and just getting settled in to the dorms. I have met tons of new interesting people, as well as tons of annoying Americans. Not all of the Americans here are annoying, the annoying-ness is concentrated to the group of 18-23 year olds. Who would have imagined?

Climbing

As some of you may already know, after quiting soccer I have taken up a new sport: rock climbing! When I was home over Christmas I bought some of the necessary equipment to get started, namely shoes, a belt and some carabiners. During the following months I was climbing in a small gym in Switzerland. In the gym ropes were provided, so I was completely equipped to climb there. Now that the weather has gotten much nicer, my place of choice to go climbing has been the University’s outdoor climbing tower. The only problem with the tower is that one needs to provide their own rope. I have been lucky enough to know someone who has lent me a rope on occasion, but this last week I finally splurged and bought my own. The following pictures are from this last weekend when I went climbing on the tower with two friends.
