About Me

My name is Chris Espy, and you have stumbled upon my blog. Over the years and through the course of my travels I have made many friends from all over the world. I use this blog (as well as my Facebook page) to keep everyone up to date as to my activities.

After finishing my degree in German at Oregon State University I started studying physics at Universität Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany. As a part of that program I am now on exchange to Tel Aviv University in Israel (do I need to say that it’s in Tel Aviv?) I will be participating in an internship and not actually be taking any classes. The first two months in Israel I will be taking an Ulpan, intensive language course, to learn Hebrew. After that I will work closely with a doctoral student on the topic of Non-Linear Dynamics of Many Coupled Systems (many here = a few thousand).
