Turning Over a New Leaf at DJK Konstanz

Finally things are starting to look up for my soccer team. Last Sunday we played an away game against the (at that point) best team in the league. As I already posted, our coach had quit the previous week, so we had no offcial coach for the game. Our assistant coach steped up to the task and lead our team to our first win of the season. We won 1-0, when it should have easily been 5 or 6-0. We had some unbelievable chances, but our offense was unable to convert those chances into goals. Either way, a win is a win.

If You Can’t Handle The Heat . . .

. . . quit! Yesterday many of us got a surprise as at the beginning of soccer practice: we found out our coach quit. I guess he just didn’t feel worthy of a team that is 0-1-2 this season. So at the moment we don’t have an official coach. Supposedly the club is going to find a new coach for us sometime next week. This has been without a doubt a very intersting season indeed!
